Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has asked political leaders from Western region to unite ahead of the 2017 General Election.
Speaking in Busiangala, Ikolomani Sub-county on Saturday, the former Deputy Prime Minister said Luhya community has numerical strength but it could only work to their advantage if residents registered as voters en mass.
“In 2013 when I vied for the presidency under UDF, there were claims that I had borrowed a shirt but now I have knitted my own called ANC. It’s now time to move forward,” said Mudavadi.

He vowed to contest the presidency in 2017, saying though he failed to clinch the top seat in 2013, he would learn from past mistakes.
“I am putting my house in order. My journey started in 2013. I am yet to finish the race. I will vie for presidency under ANC this time,” declared Mudavadi.
He criticised the Jubilee government saying: “Kenyans are tired of corruption in government, threats to devolution and false government promises. Time has come to salvage our country.”
