Investigations conducted by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) have revealed that former MPs are still earning salaries.
It is also disheartening to note that some current MPs sign attendance lists for their absent colleagues to receive sitting allowance.
Falsification of mileage claims was also revealed as a tactic MPs use to receive cash from the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) fraudulently.
It is also appalling to learn that sacked Cabinet secretaries will continue enjoying their monthly salaries till 2017 as their contracts dictate.
