The Anti-Terrorism Police Unit has eight days to complete investigations against three suspects in custody for allegedly planning attacks in the country.
Senior Resident Magistrate Eddah Agade said the ATPU has slightly over a week to finalise investigations on the three suspects Ngandi John Mwikali, Simon Kimeu Mutie and Mathew Kinuthia Maina.
According to an ATPU officer Bernard Ndirangu, Mr Mwikali and Mr Mutie were arrested by Makueni Criminal Investigations Division officers on June 19 this year.

They had allegedly finalised plans for the attack with their Somali colleagues and had come back home to prepare for the raid.
Maina, the ATPU officer further said, was arrested on the same date after entering the State House, Nairobi, compound after scaling a fence.
“He told us that he wanted to see the President to give him some money to go and record music,” Ndirangu told the court. The matter will be mentioned on June 26.
