Kenya: Centum Investment Company’s Corporate Affairs Director and Group Company Secretary, Fred Murimi, has been selected among 23 of Africa’s young leaders with the highest potential to take part in the African Leadership Institute’s (AFLI) Tutu Leadership Fellowship.
The candidates selected, who range in age from 29 to 40, have demonstrated the potential to be top-level leaders in their sectors in Africa within a few years. The selection of the 2015 candidates includes four Kenyans, seven Nigerians, four South Africans, two Sudanese, with Ghana, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Somaliland and Guinea Bissau each having one candidate.
In his role at East Africa’s largest quoted investment company, Mr Murimi acts as the group’s general counsel and oversees its investor relations, communications and risk functions. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the investment industry.
Tutu Fellows represent a powerful network of leaders from a wide range of sectors aiming to extend the benefits of their learning and experiences to the broader society.
