Kenya: A young man has been stabbed to death in Mburi village after a fierce fight over a woman with an opponent.
The deceased, Phillip Chomba, 25, was allegedly stabbed in the right side of the chest and died while being rushed to hospital.
Deputy Police Commander Charles Ontita, while confirming the Friday’s 10.30pm incident, said the assailant fled but his officers have launched a man hunt.
“We have already launched a man hunt and since his identity is known, it will not take long before we catch up with him,” Mr Ontita said.
The Standard yesterday tried to trace the whereabouts of the woman but no villager was willing to divulge any information on her.
