Nairobi, Kenya: Leaders thronged Lee Funeral Home Saturday to view the body of Kabete MP George Muchai, his two bodyguards and driver.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, while at the funeral home, condoled with the family of the late Muchai and three others, wishing them strength and fortitude at this time of grief.
He termed the murder by the gunmen as shocking, bizarre and beastly adding that Muchai's death is a huge loss to the people of Kabete Constituency.
Raila urged government to hasten investigations and bring the culprits to book.
"It is my hope that the government will do everything in its power to honour Hon Muchai's service to the nation and to help the family cope with the loss by getting to the bottom of this foul crime and making sure justice is done," he said.
