University of Nairobi vice-chancellor Prof George Magoha, has been reappointed chairman of the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board. Secretary for Health James Macharia, said Magoha will serve for a five-year term together with 16 other members elected to represent different stakeholders.
"The chairman is appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Health, while other members representing different fields among them Moi, Kenyatta and University of Nairobi medical schools, medical and dental doctors were elected," explained Daniel Yumbya, the CEO Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board in a statement.
"The elections were supervised by Munga Murage Advocates with logistical support from IEBC," explained Yumbya.
