MALABA: Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong who is also the first MP to win two terms as Teso lawmaker has revealed that he will vie for Presidency upon the expiry of his second term in 2022.
Ojaamong was quoted saying, "God is taking me to occupy President Uhuru Kenyatta's seat when his constitutional second term expires in 2022 and I believe that it is possible."
The county boss said this at the weekend while commissioning five new classrooms at Ekisegere Primary School, Malaba that were built by Community Development Trust Fund at a cost of Sh5.1m.
He further reiterated that his push for Pesa Mashinani came even as the National Assembly Public Committee gave indications that allocations to all counties will be increased to Sh400b, up from the controversial Sh226b.
