Nyamira, Kenya: Police in Nyamira have arrested a 30-year-old boda boda operator who allegedly defiled two girls aged seven and 11.
The girls, who are siblings, were allegedly lured by the man into a guest house in Kebirigo Trading Center on Tuesday evening where he defiled them. He was caught in the act by a care-taker after the girls made distress calls.
The man had lied to the caretaker that the children’s mother had been injured in a motorcycle accident and was admitted at a local hospital.
“Given the circumstances, I allowed them in but minutes later, I heard the children screaning. I peeped through the window and saw the man. I quickly called the watchman who knocked down the door and rescued the minors,” said the caretaker.

One of the girls sustained neck injuries while struggling to overpower the assailant.
The man sustained injuries as furious residents ascended on him as he attempted to escape while half-naked. He was rescued by police.
