Nairobi, Kenya: The government has partnered with other stakeholders to rebrand the country as the region’s leading tourist and business hub.

Ministry of East African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism Cabinet secretary Ms Phyllis Kandie said the rebranding is aimed at making Kenya the destination of choice for visitors and investors.

Speaking at a book launch event early this week in Nairobi, she said the book titled “Best of Kenya Volume 3” is one of the best bids to brand the country as a visitor and investor destination of repute and choice, an initiative the ministry of tourism has now undertaken.

“I would like to commend the efforts being done by various stakeholders, both in the private and public sector, in ensuring that Kenya remains to be among the leading tourist attractions centre’s   in the region,” said Kandie.

The book, which published by Global Village Publishers, seeks to promote Kenya as a communication and business hub in the region and also help in sustaining the county’ s image globally. The book celebrates Kenya’s milestone achievements in both the public and private sectors, in the last 50 years.
