Kisumu, Kenya: A woman was burnt to death in her former employer’s shop in a suspected love gone sour incident at Kibuye market, Kisumu County.
The 23-year-old, alleged to have been a former girlfriend of the shop owner, reportedly locked herself up in the shop on Monday night and set the premises ablaze.
Sources said the woman had been working as a salesperson at the shop but was sacked a few weeks ago under unclear circumstances.
The sources further said there had been wrangles between the woman and the shop owner over their relationship.
