Kiambu, Kenya: Thika Level 5 hospital will open an ultra-modern, multimillion shilling mortuary in the next two months.
The hospital’s Medical Superintendent Patrick Nyaga said the new morgue will have a capacity to store 108 bodies.
He said the facility has been built through a private-public partnership between the Government and Mount Kenya University.
“The morgue will go a long way in addressing congestion at the old morgue, which has a capacity of only 18 bodies,” said Dr Nyaga.
