The County Police Commander Richard Bitonga said villagers mounted a search for the 60-year-old and found his body lying in a bush with deep panga cuts.
Mr Bitonga said no suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident. “We are still pursuing the suspects. We are appealing to members of the public to volunteer information that could lead to the arrest of the runway suspects,” he said.
The incident brings to two the number of people murdered in the recent past.
