Eldoret, Kenya: Police in Eldoret have nabbed 54 Somali nationals who had boarded a bus headed for Turkana.
The foreigners were in a bus which had been stopped for a routine check at a roadblock in Burnt Forest on Monday evening.
They are alleged to have successfully sneaked into the country through the Kenya-Somalia border.
Eldoret East OCPD Nelson Taliti told The Standard police became suspicious of the passengers in the bus and ordered them to show their identification.

"All of them did not have any documents authorising them to be in the countr,’’ he said.
The OCPD added that on Sunday, they arrested two Ethiopians and a Sudanese national who had no identification documents.
The suspects were locked up at Central Police Station in Eldoret for interrogation before they are arraigned in court.
