Before couples hit the sack, it is common knowledge that a spark has to be created and consequently nurtured in a series of strokes to keep the exponential rise of energy. Of course there are usual parts that a partner would go for – touching and caressing in a moment of wild enjoyment.

Rumour has it that Kenyan men are least romantic. If so, then it could be because they go for parts that do not really matter. A study conducted jointly by Bangor University and the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg has determined that feet are the least sexually sensitive compared to other body parts.

The neuroscientists whose intent was only to study the links between sex and the brain, published their results in neuroscientific journal Cortex and several newspapers. The publication suggests that feet could not be any better appealing than any other external body part. It was found to be the least appealing part of the human anatomy when it comes to enhancing the mojo.

Feet ranked lowest of all 41 body parts in terms of sexual attractiveness, closely followed by kneecaps. Other findings in the study included a male penchant for the backs of the legs and the hands, although these left the female sex drive unmoved.  According to Prof Oliver Turnbull of Bangor University’s School of Psychology and his colleagues, the results, which were collated from questioning 800 people in the UK and South Africa, were remarkably consistent and held true regardless of race, gender and sexual orientation.

The most popular body part was, inevitably, the genitals, followed by lips, ears, inner thighs, and the shoulder arcs.

It is possible that when you touch or caress your partner’s feet you could be wasting a lot of energy and time on a part which may not be bring as much reward as you imagine it would.
