Governor Daniel Waithaka has defended himself against claims raised by striking casual workers.
On Monday, the workers took to the streets accusing the county of failing to employ them on permanent terms.
But the governor denied the claims, citing a court ruling that casual workers renew their contracts after every three months to be considered when permanent jobs arise.
