Bluechip Technologies Managing Director Victor Murage.

Nigerian technology company Bluechip Technologies has established an office in Nairobi to provide support for its customers in the East African region.

The firm offers business application and system management services to a wide range of companies. It was established in 2008 in Nigeria and has other offices in Accra, Ghana and Lusaka, Zambia.

Bluechip Technologies Managing Director Victor Murage said the company focuses on data and analytic solutions.

“We are a leading specialist business application and data management consulting firm, delivering world-class services and values in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa,” he said.

“We have helped several clients including banks and telcos turn their vital business data into a competitive advantage by implementing custom analytics solutions using Big Data and machine learning technologies.

Mr Murage worked in Lagos for five years as the head of West Africa for an American education technology company, Blackboard Inc, before joining Bluechip.

“We believe that business process automation is a challenge in the East African region, that’s why we see the need to build our customer support centre in Nairobi. We have already started operation in our offices in Westlands,” he said.

The firm plans to introduce key products including Customer Master Data Manager and Cash Complete, a robust enterprise resource planning application designed to improve cash management.
