Tomorrow, the moment that Game of Thrones fans have been waiting for will finally be here - the launch of the final season.
Rumours about the plot have been flying left, right, and centre, with people trying to guess who will ultimately sit on the coveted Iron Throne.
Now, researchers from the Technical University of Munich have used science to predict who’s most likely to take the top spot.
The team developed an algorithm that analysed data about Game of Thrones to predict the survival chances of each character.
The analysis suggests that Daenerys Targaryen has the highest chance (99 per cent) of surviving the harrowing Game of Thrones world, followed by Tyrion Lannister who has a survival rate of 97per cent.
Meanwhile, Sansa Stark’s chances of survival aren’t looking so good, with the algorithm predicting that there’s a 73per cent chance she’ll die.
While there's no guarantee that the algorithm is right this time, it may be worth keeping in mind that it correctly predicted Jon Snow's resurrection ahead of Season 6!
Dr Guy Yachdav, who led the study, said: “While the task of predicting survival chances for Game of Thrones characters relies on data taken from the world of fantasy, the exact same Artificial Intelligence techniques are used in the real world and are having a powerful impact on our everyday lives.”
