Kenya’s leading telco company, Safaricom, has launched a campaign that will see 100 subscribers pocket a million Shillings.
The 'Shukrani KochoKocho Kenya Nzima' promotion will run for 90 days from February 20 to May 21, 2019.
During the 10-week long promotion, Safaricom will reward eight winners from each of the eight regions with Sh1 million weekly.
In the Grand Finale, Safaricom will reward one winner from each of the 47 counties with Sh1 million. At the same time, there will be one national customer who will walk away with Sh18 million.
All Safaricom customers are eligible for the competition. They are automatically enrolled into the draw when they make M-Pesa transactions of Sh100 and above or top up their lines with airtime worth Sh20 and above.

The customers are awarded 1 entry for every Sh20 transacted and 10 entries for every sh20 topped up airtime.
However, the qualifying M-Pesa transactions are limited to sending money, receiving money from a business, transfers from a financial institution to M-Pesa, and all Lipa Na M-Pesa transactions.
Safaricom will hold 6 weekly draws for each of the regions, which will see more than 51,000 customers win cash prizes of Sh 1,000.
Customers also stand to win daily airtime prizes.
All the participating customers will be placed in a national pool, and the lucky one will be awarded the Grand Prize of Sh18 million.
The Shukrani KochoKocho Kenya Nzima campaign by Safaricom is an initiative to celebrate and reward more than its 29 million customers for their continued loyalty.
