A Cruise Ship, Symphony of the seas. [Maarufu Mohamed,Standard]

Skal International, the world’s largest association of hospitality executives, and Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, will host the 2019 Skal 80th Annual International World Congress.

Over 1,200 travel industry professionals from around the world are expected to attend the 7-night voyage departing from Miami, Florida, USA on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Kenya successfully hosted the 2018 World Skal Congress that was dubbed congress on the beach at the Pride Inn Paradise Beach Resort Convention Centre and Spa, Shanzu, Mombasa County.

Skal Kenya Coast President, Victor Shitakah said that the country will definitely be represented at the event in the USA.

''We are looking forward to be present aboard the ship as we keep the Kenyan flag flying even higher,'' Shitakah who is also the Regional Manager (Coast) for Pride Inn Group of Hotels said.

Founded in 1932 in Paris, Skal unites all branches of the travel and tourism industry to promote global tourism, business and friendship.

 With 15,000 Members in 359 clubs throughout 83 Nations, Skal is an international professional organization of travel leaders from around the world who gather to share, improve and gather relationships, advice and ideas.

 The World Congress itinerary includes stops at Western Caribbean destinations including Roatán in Honduras, Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico and CocoCay, a private island in the Bahamas.
