We have since established that the South Rift school is a private one.
We regret the error and inconvinience caused to the school, pupils and parents.
Meanwhile, there was song and dance at the school in Kericho district, which produced, Irvine Kiplangat Koech who scored 432 marks out of a possible 500 marks.
Koech said he hopes to join Alliance Boys after his exemplary performance. "I am happy to be ranked the top candidate in my school and within the region," he said.
