Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has urged Kenyans to keep hope alive and work hard to disabuse the country of wrong policies, greed and corruption in his New Year message.

In a statement on Sunday, December 31, Musyoka said that 2023 had been a challenging and overwhelming year for many Kenyans, who had suffered from the Kenya Kwanza regime's violent crackdown on peaceful protests and the effects of the El Nino phenomenon.

He accused the government of being in denial, confused, disorganised, and failing to disburse funds to the counties in time.

Kalonzo said 2024 would be a crucial and watershed year for the country, calling on Kenyans to unite and embrace diversity.

"I wish my fellow Kenyans God's own blessings, whether we are Christians, Muslims or Hindus. All Kenyans, wherever you are here or abroad, please keep hope alive. We have only one nation-our motherland Kenya," he said.

The Azimio coalition co-principal also expressed his optimism that the country would overcome its challenges and achieve its potential.

"Let us work hard to disabuse the country of wrong policies, greed and corruption. Happy New Year and God's blessings I wish for all of you," he noted.
