There was drama at Kitengela, Kajiado County for the better part of Wednesday, after two middle-aged women were attacked by a swarm of bees for allegedly stealing another woman's cash.

The two are said to have stolen Sh100,000 from Aisha Salome while using public transport. Salome was reportedly travelling from Kakamega to Kitengela to start a business.

Salome says the duo boarded the same matatu she was travelling in and sat near her in the back seat.

Upon arriving at Kitengela, Salome narrates that her money is missing and makes a report at Kitengela Police Station where he reported the matter.

Salome has told Standard Digital that she was later advised by a relative who gave her the contact of a town-based witch doctor to help her recover the lost money.

"I'm glad to have all my money back, I was wondering what to do, I had planned to open a business in Kitengela town and that's all I had," Salome says.

The two women with the swarm of bees in their faces were escorted by a vast crowd that had gathered to witness.

For more than two hours, they went around the town and ended up at the residence of the witch doctor, identified as Wesonga.

The witch doctor administered his rituals forcing all the bees to drop from the women who were shouting for help.

Wesonga said Salome contacted him and decided to help her get the money back.

"This is the work that I inherited from my father, it took me only three days to locate these two ladies who had stolen from Salome, from here I will hand them to the police so that they can be prosecuted," said Wesonga.

After the drama, the two women were escorted to the Kitengela Police Station where they were locked awaiting to be arraigned in a court of law.
