Political aspirants allied to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) will hold an aspirants meeting tomorrow, April 6.

The UDA National Elections Board (NEB) notified of the meeting to be held on Wednesday at 9 am in 34 counties.

Aspirants will converge at their respective county IEBC tallying centres, to be briefed on the upcoming party primaries.

The counties are among others; Baringo, Murang’a, Nairobi, Kakamega, Kwale, and Laikipia.

The party’s NEB Chairman Antony Mwaura said that the meeting will be presided over by the county returning officers.

The William Ruto-led party will hold its nominations for all elective seats on April 14.

The National Elections Board (NEB) said the countrywide exercise involves "more than 6,000 aspirants.”

On Monday, UDA said it will conduct nominations in 12 counties for the positions of governor, and 19 for the position of Senator.

Eight hundred and ninety-two (892) people have also expressed interest in the party’s ticket for MCA seats.
