The elder brother of Garissa Township MP Aden Duale on Sunday morning died in a road accident.
Dubow Bare died after the vehicle he was travelling in lost control and rolled at Bangale area. He was alone in the car.
Bare’s tragic death is a double tragedy to Duale’s family who lost their mother two months ago.
Bare is said to have left his home at Garissa Ndogo on Sunday early morning heading to his camel ranch in Tana River before he was involved in the accident.
Condolences
Eldas MP Adan Keynan tweeted his condolence to the family revealing the sorrowful incident.
“I am greatly saddened to learn the passing on of Dubow Barre Duale, elder brother to Garrisa Township MP Aden Duale who died in a horrific road accident along Garrisa - Nairobi highway,” he tweeted.
“My sincere condolences and prayers to my brother Duale, the entire Duale family and the people of Garissa County for this painful loss. May you find the strength to overcome this trying moment. I pray to the Almighty Allah to grant Dubow Janatul Firdaus. Ameen,” he further added.
In her Facebook post, Garissa Woman Representative Anab Subow mourned him as a great man with humility.
“Personally I have lost a great man with humility, a fatherly figure to everybody, jovial and warm-hearted. Those who interacted with him know the kind of a person he was,” reads her post.
Bare is expected to be laid to rest today as per the customs of Muslims.
Deputy President William Ruto has eulogised Bare a robust businessman and a peacemaker who will be remembered for his contribution to society.
“We honour Mzee Barre’s rich legacy and mourn his death with the family, friends and the people of Garissa Township. Rest In Peace,” DP Ruto said in a tweet.
