A man has spoken out about his experience of coronavirus - revealing exactly how his body reacted to the killer bug.
Justin said he first fell ill on March 4, suffering from a headache and a deep ache in his lungs before his breathing became progressively more laboured.
As his symptoms worsened, Justin, a type1 diabetic, said he "nearly passed out for no apparent reason" before eventually taking himself to A&E.
He continued on Twitter: "By that point it hurt to breath. They treated me for flu, gave me Tamiflu, an inhaler and sent me home. They said if I felt worse to come back, so I went back.
"Today it hurts to breath so much. Walking to the bathroom is like running a marathon.
"Don't think chest pain like a heart attack or flue - this isn't the flu. We all pretty much know the flu.
"Think deeper, think lung pain. It's hard to visualise but think when you breath cold air and that "pain" before your lungs warm back up, Kinda like that I guess.
"The inhaler makes my lungs hurt WORSE! With the inhaler, think of you cut yourself and applied alcohol to the wound. It’s kinda like that. Applying medicine to a wound.
"This is no flu. The flu is it’s own thing. This feels SO much different than a flu."
Justin said he is now on lockdown with his family after he was allowed to return home.
He added: "I’m home and “quarantining” with my family.
"If I feel worse I need to go back. So far my vitals are great.”
"If I drop below 90 per cent I get oxygen, 85 per cent I get intubated, and at that point it becomes scary."
Justin also urged people to "stay home" in a bid to stop the spread.
Worldwide, more than 185,000 people have been infected, according to the World Health Organisation.
In the UK, there have been 1,950 confirmed cases and 71 deaths.
Two people died at the same hospital last night in Milton Keynes - both with underlying health conditions in their 90s.
The youngest victim has been named as 45-year-old Craig Ruston, while yesterday, a nine-month-old baby boy became the youngest person to contract the virus in the UK.
Cassian Coates had a fever and cold for a number of days so concerned parents Myroslava and Callum took him to hospital.
Brits being asked to self-isolate in family clusters if anyone in a household displays symptoms.
Pregnant women, the elderly and those with underlying health conditions have also been told to socially distance themselves for 12 weeks.
Across the UK, steps are being taken to facilitate social distancing - with theatres, cinemas, bars and restaurants closing down.
Sporting tournaments across the world have been cancelled or postponed - including Euro 2020 which has been pushed back to next summer.
Criminal trials are also to be put on hold as part of the ongoing efforts to delay the spread.
In a statement issued late on Tuesday, it was announced that the Lord Chief Justice Lord Burnett - the most senior judge in England and Wales - has decided no new trial should start in any Crown Court unless it is expected to last for three days or fewer.
As a result, cases longer than three days that were due to start before the end of April will be postponed.
