Police have arrested a primary school teacher for allegedly defiling a form four student at Lower Solai, in Rongai.
The teacher, Abraham Kiplang'at, 26, and the student are undergoing a medical examination at Bahati Hospital.
Rongai sub-county Police Commander Richard Rotich confirmed the arrest, adding that the victim had locked the girl in his house.
"We are holding a teacher accused of locking a student in his house where he defiled her," the police boss said.
The student was reported missing on June 21 before being found in the teacher's house today at around 4pm.
"We shall arraign the teacher in court, once we are done with investigations," Rotich added.
