Swansea, UK: A primary teacher accused of having relationships with two underage girls begged one of them not to tell his bride-to-be how old she was, a court has been told.
Jonathan Mark Norbury, 33, is on trial at Swansea Crown Court where he denies nine counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child and five of inciting a person under the age of 16 to perform sex acts.
The two complainants, now adults, were not previous pupils of Norbury.
One of the women told the jury she was in a relationship with Norbury when she was 15.
She told the jury they would kiss when they met up after school, reports Wales Online.
"He would ask me to show him my underwear and then say something sexual, and start kissing," she said.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said that she would send photographs of herself in her underwear to Norbury and would sneak out for them to have sexual contact in his car.
She told the jury their relationship began when he text her telling her she "looked hot".
"I was a bit shocked at the start because I wasn't really expecting it, but then I was quite pleased," she said.
When asked by prosecuting barrister Jim Davis why she was pleased, she replied: "Because I thought he was good looking and older than me".
Pictures of a digital organiser, in which she recorded the words used in the text, were shown to the jury.
In that she wrote: "Jon sed u luk hot".
She told the jury she had just turned 15 when she received the message.
Further messages were sent between the pair and they soon began meeting up secretly and the woman told the jury she would sneak out of her parents house to meet Norbury, and use a secret phone to text him.
"What sort of things were being said?" asked Mr Davis.
"A similar sort of thing.
"That one was the one that started it because it came from nowhere.
"After a while I started sneaking out in the night to meet him."
She then said she sent pictures of herself in her underwear to Norbury.
