MARSABIT, KENYA: Marsabit Governor Ukur Yattani has unveiled list of nominees to County executive committee posts

On Monday the Governor announced seven nominees for executive post and left three slots which he confirmed to made public on Friday.

Following style of President Uhuru Kenyatta, the governor made public the qualification, experience, education back ground and place of birth for each of the seven nominees.

The governor announced Golicha Sora, to the Trade, Industry and Enterprise Development docket. Sora is married and was born in Sololo in 1968; he is a Microfinance expert with over 16 years of experience.

He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and Strategic Management and Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Maseno University, he also holds a Diploma in Co-operative Management and Auditing.

Sora worked with Makao Development Limited as General Manager lastly, he had served numerous management positions and microfinance institutions.

Guracha Adi will be in charge of County Treasury, Development and planning docket. He is married and with children born in 1974.

Adi is an investment expert with 14 years experience in both local and international in developing national economic planning. He had good management skills and experience as manger for Kenya Investment Authority for years.

He holds a Master in Business Administration and International Business Management and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and Business Studies.

Education, Skill development, Youth and sport was given to Stephen Lebarakwe. Mr. Lebarakwe holds a Bachelor degree in Education.

He has experience of more than 15 years in education sector where he had been heading several years in the same sector. He was born in 1965 and married. Labarakwe also holds a Head of State Commendation.

Mohamed Konse is the nominee for Roads, Public Works and Transport, Konse was born in 1983, holds a Bachelor Degree of Commerce in procurement, supply and chain management. Konse is also a holder of a Diploma in Pharmacy.

The governor announced Dr. James Doke, nominee for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. Dr. Doke was born in 1978 and married. He holds Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Medicine, currently pursuing a Master in Public Health.

Dr Doke worked both locally and internationallywith NGO’s in the sector of Livestock Health, Disaster Risk Reduction, Livelihoods and Economic development for seven years.

Isako Galgallo was announced the nominee for Water, Environment and Natural Resource, Galgallo was born in North Horr.

He holds Bachelor degree in Education and has an experienced of 15 years in education sector. He served Provisional Administration, NGO’s, Kenya Dairy Board and Kenya Veterinary Service Board.

Finally, in Administration, Co-ordination of County Affairs and ICT docket the governor announced Hawo Abdullah as in charged.

She was born in Moyale 1971; she was a principal, Meru Muslim Girls High School currently. She has served in management and principal to several schools before.

A source said the remaining dockets; Health services, Energy, Lands and Urban development and Tourism and Social Services will be announce soon.
