Although Aisha Gaddafi has never been elected by any Libyan, the late Col Muammar Gaddafi’s daughter has finally found her voice in her Algerian exile. Aisha is urging Libyans to overthrow their new rulers! She is demanding for a revolt against the men who overthrew her father and his government using planes of NATO. Hear her: "My father has not left, he is always among us...Don’t forget the orders of your father urging you to continue fighting, even if you no longer hear his voice." Is this woman for real? Why doesn’t she re-cross the border and spearhead the revolt herself, rather than propose martyrdom for others from the comfort of her new home?

After the US Congress quietly lifted a five-year-old ban on funding horsemeat inspections, activists fear slaughterhouses could be up and running within a month preparing horsemeat for human consumption. The last US slaughterhouse that butchered horses closed in 2007 in Illinois, and animal welfare activists warned of massive public outcry in any town where a slaughterhouse may open, says an AP report. They estimate that, eventually, as many as 200,000 horses a year could be slaughtered.

The Operation Karua-drop your bid by PNU supporters and Central Province power brokers can be hilarious sometimes. Remember a top contender’s pitch sometime back: "Mimi sina chuki na huyu dada yangu . Hata kama yeye hunitukana, bado nina mheshimu, na akishinda awe rais wa Kenya niko tayari hata kuwa nikimubebea kibeti chake,"(I have no grudge against my sister (Martha ‘Iron Lady’ Karua) though she attacks me verbally. I still respect her and if she wins the presidency, I am ready to become her handbag carrier). Try as Palaver might, this picture is hard to imagine.

And finally...

Who is trying to annoy Chief Justice Willy Mutunga? Even after making an appointment here and there, blasting the Dress Code from 16th Century Europe to this age, he comes to Milimani Law Courts to find a seven-year-long, Sh1 billion renovation wanting. "To refer to this building as ultra modern is to insult both the English language and the intelligence of Kenyans... a poster project of corruption and failure of the engineering, architectural and other professions," Mutunga said. Ouch!
