Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi is set to represent President William Ruto at the Danish-Africa High-Level Dialogue Summit in Denmark on Monday, March 11.
This is according to Kenya's Ambassador to the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8), Angeline Musili, on Sunday.
She said the summit will focus on strengthening the partnership between Denmark and Africa.
Musili will also accompany Mudavadi, along with other members of the Kenyan delegation, to the summit.
The forum aims to discuss the new Danish policy, founded on the pillars of trade and investment, climate action, and peace and security.
"The summit will serve as a platform to review the 15-year relationship between Denmark and Africa, focusing on global issues of interest," Musili said.
Over 200 delegates from across Africa are expected to attend the summit.
Kenya and Denmark enjoy a longstanding relationship spanning over six decades.
Mudavadi is expected to use the summit to engage in bilateral talks with the Danish Prime Minister and key investors.
The discussions will focus on enhancing the Kenya-Danish relationship by exploring untapped opportunities and new frontiers.
The NB8 is a regional cooperation group that includes Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden.
