“My pair of spectacles had come in handy when my eyes started failing four years ago. Previously, I had to constantly squint to see what the teacher was writing on the blackboard.
One day, the frames started becoming crooked. My attempts to straighten the frames would improve the situation but they would revert to their crooked form. The crooked appearance was uncomfortable to my sight.
I went to the dealers of spectacles where I had purchased my pair with the hope that they would have a remedy to my problem. Fortunately, one of the optometrists was able to physically correct the problem and the frames were in proper alignment. He did this in less than five minutes.
He went a step further by finding out how I handle my spectacles. I explained to him and he was able to intelligently deduce the problem. I had the tendency to remove my spectacles using one hand and not putting them in a casing when not in use.
He advised me on ways of taking care of my spectacles and since then, they have always been ship shape.”
