VIDEO: Man jumps on aeroplane wing before take off

A Nigerian man who jumped on to the wing of an aeroplane at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos has been arrested.

The incident happened on Friday morning and according to a video seen by Ureport, the man attempted to gain access into the cabin of the Azman Air flight just about to take off.

Reports indicate that he was spotted by the pilot who slowed down and turned off the engine as the man sought a way to get into the plane.

In a video seen by Ureport, passengers in the plane appear concerned and try to crane their necks to get a glimpse of the bizarre occurrence outside.

After the incident, passengers and crew disembarked for another round of security checks.

The unidentified man is currently in police custody and is being questioned by Nigeria’s Airport Authority.

This comes just a few weeks after a body of a stowaway fell from a Kenya Airways plane in London.

It is believed that the man fell from the landing gear compartment a few minutes before the flight landed at Heathrow Airport.

A bag, water and food were later found in the compartment by police.

The plane was flying from Nairobi to Heathrow.
