Keter lashes out at Murkomen, Sang over appointments

By MICHAEL OLLINGA

Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has lashed out at two senators from the North Rift for trying to intimidate his exposé on the Jubilee coalition.

The youthful legislator had to walk away from the burial ceremony of former Aldai MP Simeon Choge in Trans-Nzoia County over the weekend after two senators openly condemned his accusations on the jubilee government.

Keter had criticised the Government, first for its recent appointments of heads of parastatals and also the delivery of promises it made to the electorate while seeking votes. “The two senators are misguided in engaging me in a war of words, yet they know very well the issues are nothing but the truth and affects them,” Keter told The Standard.

He said he was not impressed by the manner in which Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and his Nandi counterpart Stepehen Sang countered his comments, concerning the 26 parastatal appointments made by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Keter had taken issue with  appointments of former Head of Public Service Francis Muthaura as head of Lapsset and Matu Wamae as chairman of New Kenya Co-operative Creameries.
