Congratulatory messages have poured in for Dorea Chege and DJ Dibul after the couple welcomed their first child.
The renowned pair took to Instagram to share their joy, expressing their excitement over their newborn daughter.
“I fought for you, I prayed for you, I yearned for you. And now, holding you in my arms, I realize that all the sacrifices, all the struggles, were worth every single moment. Welcome to the world, our precious princess,” Dorea Chege wrote.
Dorea Chege rose to fame through her role in the popular local drama series Maria. She later landed bigger roles in some of Kenya’s most-watched television productions, including the award-winning telenovela Selina. She also starred in the hit series Pink Ladies, which featured celebrated actors such as Azziad Nasenya, Pascal Tokodi, and Shix Kapienga.
Chege met DJ Dibul in high school during a mentorship program. Within six months, Dibul expressed his interest in her, initiating their connection through an Instagram message. The actress responded with a simple “hi,” and the rest, as they say, is history.
Following the couple’s announcement, fans and celebrities flooded social media with congratulatory messages.
