As Diageo brand ambassador Kingline Ojal explains, its ease of preparation makes it a hit with home bartenders. Just tequila, lime, and a touch of sweetness are all you need.

Kenyan women love customizing it with local flavours like mango, chilli, and passion fruit, making it ideal for everything from rooftop gatherings to beachside brunches.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Casamigos Reposado Tequila or Casamigos Blanco Tequila.

0.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice.

0.5 oz. Fresh Orange Juice.

½ Thick Rim Equal Parts Salt or Sugar or Orange Zest – this is optional.

Garnish using the Lime Wheel.

How to make it:

Start by wetting the 1⁄2 rim of rock glass with a lime wheel, then dip it into the salt mixture. Then combine all ingredients into a tin shaker.

Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a small rock glass. Add fresh ice and garnish. Enjoy!
