Kenyan comedian Chipukeezy will attend the BET Awards scheduled for June 25 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
Speaking to Heads Up, the comedian confirmed the good news.
“After I met with my idol, Kevin Hart, last week, the management contacted me and gave me an all-access invite to the event. At first, I couldn’t believe it, but I was touched by his kindness.
I can’t wait to mingle with other artistes, especially Terrence Howard aka Lucious Lyon of Empire. I want to show him the Empire parody I made.”
Chipukeezy revealed he will be hosting this year’s Afrima Awards to be held in September in Dallas, Texas.
The comedian started his US tour early this month and is set to perform in more cities in North Carolina, Minnesota, Boston and lastly in Dallas on July 8 with Nigerian comedian Basket Mouth.
