Gospel singer Pitson is not interested in being part of Groove Awards.
The gospel singer who skyrocketed to fame after his Lingala Ya Yesu hit has requested the awards organisers not to nominate him this year.
“I want to focus on my album which is long overdue. I am guided by God and this is my year to stay away and work on my music and brand,” he said.
Asked what will happen in case he is nominated, he replied: “I will be pissed off and will not take it lightly because organisers are aware of it. I believe men give awards and God gives rewards. Hopefully, next year I will be back.”
