Real men and women are extinct

Gone are the days when women would sit pretty after chores and wait for men to bring home the antelope. Women have taken over households, reeking in finances, taking responsibilities from men who are busy betting, ogling on women on the streets and on social media, drinking and discussing trivial issues.

Women run the show now, they juggle careers and families while all the men do instead of upping their game is to whine about feminism and how it a monster that needs to be slain. But they forget that they brought this upon themselves the day they fell for this equality trap .

I vouch for equity as opposed to equality. We can never be equals as far as family and relationships are concerned. The basic unit of a society is the family and without rooted, decent, stable families, our society is doomed. For instance, when we talk about teens gone wild, it all narrows down to how we raise our children.

Look, women were never meant to be providers. They are supposed to be helpers. The moment your woman pays all the bills in the house, my friends, kiss submissive woman bye.

The modern woman has allowed equality and feminism to get into her head. She is the woman who can afford to rent a decent apartment, perhaps mortgage, take care of her bills and afford a cool car. You expect that one to come home and cook for a husband who has been watching movies the whole day? Or any husband for that matter?

Her argument will be, if I leave the house the morning to hustle just like he does and likely bring home fatter bacon than him, why else would endure a traffic jam, come home tired and still go to the kitchen?

Of course she would never touch her man’s laundry and the little time she has to take care of her hubby, say on weekends, is wasted gossiping on social media or attending lousy girls meetings where women cheat each other and share juvenile pieces of advices that end up breaking their families.

How will a lady know how to submit to a man when she barely washed her own clothes while growing up? How would she know that a man prefers food prepared by his wife when she grew up watching ‘maids’ cook for her father, make her parent’s bed and technically be the woman of the house?

But again, would you blame the women for not being submissive when men have become mere shadows of who they are supposed to be?

Some men are not self- driven and have chosen to be stagnant in life, try reasoning with them and they will remind you that you are a woman, he married you and not the other way round and that you cannot advise him about anything.

So you have a man who married a woman and they began life in a single room. A decade and four kids down the line, he has only, moved to a more spacious single room! Meanwhile, his mates have bought or constructed homes while he has turned himself into useless drunkard who knows all the pubs in town and drinks 50 bags of cement every weekend. How do you submit to such a brainless man with no sense of responsibility, a man who does not see beyond his nose and wants to subject you and the family into an abyss of poverty?

See, the reason our mothers were submissive is because our fathers were men. If he wanted another woman, he would marry a second, third or fourth wife; not waste his money on ten Mpango wa Kandos.

You cannot harbor ten sluts, two mistresses and sponsor four college girls with your meagre earnings while your woman wears tatters then you expect her not to uma ndimu kwa nyumba.

While your kids attend estate kanjo schools, the baby to MWK that belongs to a dead beat father is attending those schools with astronomical fee structures courtesy of your pocket. Sorry if you expect to be treated like a King. You will be treated like dirt.
