Help Wini get the little stars to Denmark!

Wini Nkinda, a dancer, actress, musician, deejay, and full time teacher has been 'silent' for some time. She has been working on some great projects which we will share in due course.

On May 7th, Wini will be turning 34. To make this day special, she has decided to put a smile on her face by putting smiles on the faces of kids from mostly financially limited backgrounds who have an opportunity up for grabs, which could change their lives forever. The opportunity is on the verge of disappearing because of insufficient funds.

Mr. Collins Olimba, who is a Mathematician accorded numerous qualifications in soccer training, started Cheza Sports Academy. He says, what Cheza has done is mould the talent of kids, mostly from Mukuru slums. The kids have a safe environment to grow, nurture their talent and be just kids. They are protected from the vices of the world such as drugs and crime. These kids now have an opportunity to travel to Denmark for the 35th edition of Dana Cup at the end of July. If they cannot sort out their airfare, accommodation and meals by end of this month, they will miss out. It costs approx Ksh 300,000/- per child, all inclusive.

On 7th May we invite you to join Wini at Railway Training Institute (RTI) from 9am till 5pm, where the kids will showcase their talent as they fund raise towards the cause.

From 8pm, Wini will be at Club Asylum on Baricho Road where she hopes to host you and your friends in a nice meet-up to raise funds for the Cheza children. Wini (now as DJ Wini) will make a guest appearance on the decks. Come dance the night away for a good cause!

For as little Ksh 1,000/- you get to donate to the cause and get drink on entry. Bitings will also be available. Reservations are only open to people who RSVP and send full amount in advance. RSVP [email protected]

If you do not make it for the events, you can still support #WiniForCharity in any way on the Cheza cause through mpesa till 89857 (kuna vijana initiative) or direct donations at RTI on the day or at Club Asylum on that night.
