Two weeks after Churchill launched the Churchill comedy club at Galileos Lounge, a project where comedians will be performing in clubs across different counties as part of the Churchill comedy academy which boasts of sixty well-groomed comedians, seems to be growing even more.
Meanwhile showbiz comic Chipukeezy has gone regional and declared that jokes won't be tribal anymore.
"What I am about to do won't be a laughing matter. First I want to thank fans across East Africa for embracing me as a newcomer with a different touch. Now that we are done with tribal jokes and stepped up the game to give comedy a regional appeal, we have to give our audience more than what they are craving for," he told Pulse.
Together with other East Africa celebrated entertainers, the petit funny man kicks off his second regional tour next month with a number of shows slated for major towns across Kenya.
Churchill and Laugh Industry will be celebrating the 15 years anniversary and will be bringing international comedians to perform in various clubs.
