First ever non-discriminatory beauty pageant Miss Attitude E.A happening this May

The first ever nondiscriminatory beauty pageant in East Africa dubbed Miss Attitude E.A 2016 will be held on 7th May in  Nairobi’s Tribe Hotel.

The event organizer Shikha who has been behind the success of  beauty pageants across the globe decided to have one such  in her home city of Nairobi .  Miss Attitude E.A 2016 she says,  is different from the rest.

 “I am a firm believer that beauty is skin deep and comes from within and hence I wanted to arrange a pageant where the main judging criteria will be based on the ladies attitudes, the confidence they radiate and if they are able to make a positive difference in their community”  She writes.

The grande finale coming up in May will be a culmination of months of training by beautiful ladies. In its auditions about eighty ladies attended but only twenty made it through.

 Over the last few weeks the beauties have been attending a training workshop every Saturday to boost their confidenc.  “ I have had expert speakers coming in, choreographers,  to prepare them not only for the grande finale but for life itself.” Shikha adds.

“My main focus during training is to instill in the queens the humanitarian aspect of life, making sure they have a charitable cause to pursue whether they are crowned or not.

She promises a night of difference that will not only showcase physical beauty but also talent, confidence and intact character of the pretty ladies

On the evening of grand finale the beauty pageant will consist of 6 Rounds with three judge panel :Popular judge Ian Mbugua, News anchor Grace Gachanja , DT Dobie’s Usha Nagbal and Miss Universe Kenya 2014 Gaylyne Ayugi  to pass the judgment:

The categories of the night will include The Opening Dance, Day Wear, Swimwear, Talent Round, Evening Wear and  Question and Answer Round
