Three women who allegedly spiked a senior banker’s drink in Kisii town are yet to be arraigned  in court two weeks after leaving him in a kufa mende position in his house.

It is alleged that the banker had invited his ‘clande’ from Nakuru, but she decided to come along with two other girls that Friday.

The four later headed to the man’s house on the first floor of the bank where he works.

Reportedly, by 1am, Sh40,000 had been withdrawn from his bank account.

The following day, the banker who is in his early 50s, was found unconscious by colleagues — he has since been sent on compulsory leave. The incident occurred two weeks ago.

The new Kisii Central Police Station OCS, Philip Lucheveleli, while confirming the incident, said the complainant withdrew the case and “we cannot proceed with the matter unless the complainant writes a statement with us.”

When reached for comment, the bank’s branch manager told The Nairobian that, “We closed the matter and I can confirm that the person in question has been transferred. The incident occurred outside our work station, hence it remains a criminal matter that should be handled by the police.”

It is alleged that a Kisii court magistrate mid last year lost over Sh60,000 to the same gang. The magistrate was also  transferred after the matter became public.

A senior CID officer in Kisii said that they are tracking the three girls for alleged involvement in similar incidents in other towns.
