Katie Price reveals that Oscar Pistorius sent her direct messages on Twitter during his trial over the shooting of his girlfriend.

The model, 36, gave her opinions on the case back in March, saying she would not “judge” the Paralympic athlete based on media reports of the night Reeva Steenkamp was killed.

A month later, Oscar, 27, followed the star on Twitter and began contacting her

“He was direct messaging me during the case. It’s weird, isn’t it? He was saying, ‘Thanks for the support,’ and stuff. Just all general chit-chat. He was the first one to message me.’ Katie tells Mirror

“Because I mentioned him in my column, he was referencing that. I wasn’t exactly supporting him, but everyone who goes through a trial will be the only one who knows what really happened. You’re innocent until you’re proven guilty.”

In March, Katie said in a magazine column: “No matter who you are or where you’re from or what you do, we are all equal when it comes to judicial undertakings and no prejudice or external factors should complicate the process. I’m certainly not going to judge Oscar on other people’s theories portrayed in the media. Katie’s brother, Dan, spotted the messages and flagged them to the star.

“He said, ‘Oh my god, Kate – have a look at whose direct messaged you on Twitter.’ I said, ‘It’s got to be fake.’ He said, ‘No, it’s from his verified account.’”

Now, Katie says she would love to interview Pistorius. “I would interview him, I would love to.”
