No journalist ever imagines being beaten by a celebrity they saw grow from oblivion to international fame. But Uganda’s Kenzo of the “Sitaya loss”, which features young children dancing, let his anger take the best of him.
During a press conference about his upcoming concert “Sitaya Loss Nice concert slated for Friday at Kati Kati grounds”, Kenzo physically attacked radio presenter Kasuku Wazabanga after he asked a “disturbing question”.
Evidently, the question rubbed Kenzo the wrong way because he yanked up to his feet and gave the journalist a few jabs before he stormed off the venue in anger.
“If you want us to represent you worldwide, why don’t you stop the negativity?” Kenzo said.
“The press people have always said I don’t know English, but I have moved to over 20 countries representing Uganda. They have also reported that I am gay, which is not true.”
In regards to his education and understanding of the English language, Kenzo said:
“I never went to school, but have learnt English from the people I associate with, you should at least be thankful that I can express myself in English.”
