Back when music was simply considered a hobby and not a career, he rose to challenge the status quo with support from his back then family and stable, “Ogopa deejays”.
With memorable hits like “Megarider”, “Holiday”, “Sinzia”, and many more which boomed loud in most ‘mathrees’ back in the day, Nameless sure ruled the airwaves. Today, his recent song “Butterfly” which incorporates the “Luganda” language is doing well in the charts, perhaps it was a treat to his Ugandan fans too.
His memorable collaboration with E-sir was award winning and pushed the barriers in the Kenyan music scene back then; sadly they were both involved in an accident which led to the demise of E-sir whose legacy still lives on.
Being the star he was, Nameless bagged tons of collaborations with other musical stars across East Africa like Amani, Blu 3, Nonini, and many more.
His colorful wedding to Wahu (a Kenyan singer as well) was the icing on the cake, and as they say “He who finds a wife, finds a good thing”. With two lovely daughters, and an audience of mentees who looked up to him in their music, Nameless is not only an impeccable role model to his family, but to the Kenyan music industry too.
When asked whether they knew “Nameless” some young school kids affirmed that, “Nameless ndio baba yao!”
