BMW achieves new sales record in November, targets to sell 2 million vehicles by end of year

MUNICH: The German car producer BMW Group reported on Wednesday that it achieved a new sales record in November and the first eleven months.

A total of 188,342 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles were delivered worldwide, which is 7.6 percent more than last November. Alone the deliveries of BMW brand vehicles has increased to 158,953 vehicles, up by 6.2 percent than the previous year, according to its released figures.

In the first eleven months of the year, sales of BMW Group vehicles come to 1,902,699, an increase of 7.1 percent compared to the same period last year, reported the Munich-based company, who sees a year-on-year sales growth in all regions in the past eleven months.

"November continues the sales growth we have seen throughout the year. Our new models have made a very good start, while our core models continue to record a steady increase in sales," said Ian Robertson, member of the Board of Management responsible for sales and marketing.

"We can now be confident of achieving our target of selling over two million vehicles by the end of the year, a new record for the BMW Group."
