Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege sheds tears while at a past function.

Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege has clarified she shed tears to appreciate goodies the national government  delivered to her county, to uplift living standards of the residents.

She clarified that there was no booing nor heckling as alleged by her critics, saying she got emotional and overwhelmed by goodies valued at Sh100 million that Jubilee government under President Uhuru Kenyatta gave to Murang’a residents.

She spoke at Kahatia Primary School in Kiharu on Saturday when the Sabina Foundation organised a free medical camp that benefited over 1,000 people in the tea growing area.

“I had invited guests from all over the country, and I cried after I was overwhelmed by the gesture of the government to my Murang’a people,” said Chege.
