Wales seek end to woeful Wallaby run

Wales head into their Rugby World Cup Pool A decider against Australia at Twickenham on Saturday bidding to end a run of 10 straight defeats by the Wallabies.

Their record against Australia in World Cup games is not much better, with Wales' lone win over the Wallabies in five matches at the global showpiece event coming in a third-place play-off during the inaugural 1987 edition in New Zealand.

But Wales are taking heart from the fact that their five most recent losses to Australia have been by just the one score.

Below AFP Sport lists the details of the last 10 Wales-Australia meetings and their history of matches at the World Cup.
