Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang'ula has allayed fears of a fallout in Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD).

Mr Wetang'ula, a co-principal in CORD said the coalition is intact and is sure of defeating the Jubilee coalition in 2017. Addressing the Press in his Kanduyi home yesterday, Wetang'ula said no tricks by the Jubilee administration will separate them.

"All the three CORD principals have announced their presidential bid, but this will not divide us, in fact it makes us strong. We will conduct nomination and the person with the majority followers will be supported and I am sure of emerging the winner," he said.

He said the nomination will be free and fair to ensure the best leader wins.  He said those hell bent on separating them will be in for a rude shock.

"We have been strategising on how to defeat the Jubilee government in the next General Election and that is why we are putting our house in order. Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and I have been meeting our party officials in different parts of the country to ensure that we are strong before engaging in popularising CORD," said Wetang'ula.

He called on Kenyans of good will and those supporting CORD to get Identification Cards and register in large numbers as voters to help them beat Jubilee government in 2017 polls.
